Infanticide suspect hangs himself

A man committed suicide by hanging at an abandoned house which belonged to him at Kahathuduwa in the Piliyandala police area. Maddumakaluge Sunil Jayakody, 34, was a suspect in the case in which his one and half-year-old child was beaten to death, the police said.
