Jayakody bowls Bandarawela Thomians to victory

A match bag of 11 for 30 by N. Jayakody enabled St. Thomas College, Bandarawela to beat Prince of Wales' College by 35 runs on first innings in their inter-school Under-13 division two second round tournament cricket match worked off at Moratuwa.

Visitors batting first were all out for 127 with K. Dayawarshan scoring 43 and Dasan Samarasinghe claiming 4 for 16 for the homesters.

Cambrians in reply made 92 and in their second essay visitors declared at 129 for 1 with V. Kavindu 63 and N. Jayakody unbeaten on 60. At stumps homesters were struggling with 19 for 5.
