Sri Lanka lose to Pakistan in Asia Cup (Deaf) final
Sri Lanka emerged runners-up in the Second Asia Cup (Deaf) Cricket
Tournament held in Lahore, Pakistan. There were five countries in the
tournament reigning champions Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and
Afghanistan.

Sri Lanka qualified to play Pakistan in the final. Sri Lanka beat
Nepal while two of their matches against Afghanistan and India were
abandoned owing to rain and lost to Pakistan.
In the vital game against Pakistan, the Pakistanis made 234 for 8
wickets in their allotted 40 overs, while Sri Lanka were all out for 142
runs in 37 overs.
