WELOVEIT Studio develops 'Avurudu with Dettol'

WELOVEIT Studio, a social media solutions and design service provider, developed a social media game for Dettol, through Facebook to celebrate the Sinhala and Hindu New Year. The competition will end on April 26. 'Avurudhu with Dettol' is an application that brings the traditional Avurudu environment and experience virtually to its fans.

"This is a first of its kind application in Sri Lanka using new media," a spokesman for the company said.

Marketing Director, Dettol, Syed Tanzim Rezwan, said, "To create the festive excitement and to entertain our fans through knowledge we launched 'Avurudhu with Dettol' campaign on Facebook.

The application was developed focusing on the lissana gaha (grease pole) which is a traditional game. All winners are entitled to gifts."

This is a team based challenge. Facebook users can enter the competition by 'liking' the page and sending an invitation through Facebook to two friends to join the team to play.
