Naval Assn. AGM today

The 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Naval Association will be held today at 10.00 a.m. at the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen's Institute auditorium, Bristol Street, Fort.

The meeting is co-ordinated by Hon. Secretary, Lt. Cdr. H.C.L. Caldera (2212529/077-3353063).

1983/84 batch get-together

A get-together of graduate entrants of 1983/84 of all faculties of the University of Colombo will be held on April 27 at 9.30 a.m. at the Faculty Club of the University of Colombo.

Buddhism classes at YMBA from April 27

The Colombo YMBA will commence Pali/Dhamma/Abhidamma classes in English for new students on Saturday, April 27 from 2 pm onwards on the Third Floor of the Association building, Borella.

Those who wish to attend must submit their applications before that date.

The classes for Bhikkhus and Dasasil Mathas will be free whereas Rs. 400 per month will be charged from others.

Seminar on 'Water' on April 30

Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies will hold a seminar on 'A Day Without Water: Managing Sri Lanka's Water Resource' on April 30 from 2.00 p.m. at the Institute's auditorium.
