Travel Trade Cricket Sixes today
Twelve teams will participate in the 31st Travel Trade Sports Club
Hardball Cricket "Sixes" 2013, sponsored by Cinnamon Grand Colombo, to
be held today, 02nd June at Thurstan College Grounds, Stanley
Wijesundera Mawatha, starting 8.30 a.m.The teams are: John Keells Hotel
Management Services & Resort Hotels (2012 winner), Mackinnons American
Express Travels (2012 runners-up) Cinnamon Grand, Colombo "A"& "B"
(Host), Cinnamon Lakeside, Cinnamon Wild, Yala, Connaisance de Ceylan,
Hemas Travels, Walkers Tours, Aitken Spence Travels "A" & "B" and Sri
Lankan Airlines.
There are five special awards on offer: Best Batsman, Bowler, Batsman
hitting the most number of Sixes in the tournament, Man-of-the-Final and
Man-of-the Tournament
In the 2012 tournament held at the same venue, John Keells Hotel
Management Services & Resort Hotel beat Mackinnons American Express
Travels in the final.
