Jaleel takes slender lead of 15 votes over Abeysekera
The competition for all three segments platinum
, Gold and Silver for schools playing in the division one, two and
three are bound to be intense ones as the deficit between the first
two candidates in the Platinum Contest Royal’s Milan Abeysekera
(64,987) who was placed first last week and Thurstan’s Minhaj Jaleel
(65,002) who pushed Abeysekera into second place with the slimmest
lead of just 15 votes.

Trinity in superb fight back – beat Royal 37-25
In one of the greatest fight back seen at a
Bradby Shield rugby series, Trinity College fought back to score an
emphatic 37 points (five tries, three penalties, one drop goal) to
25 (two goals, one try, two penalties) win over Royal College in the
First Leg of the 69th Bradby Shield encounter played at the Trinity
College Rugby Stadium at Pallekele yesterday.
