UltraTech Cement:
The foundation of the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway
UltraTech Cement Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a
leading cement manufacturer, announced their involvement in the
construction of the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway as the official cement
partner. UltraTech Cement supplied more than 105,000 MT of cement,of
consistent quality from the same source plant,within a period of three
and half years. Apart from the supply of cement, UltraTech Cement
extended their service for the project with technical support.

The Colombo-Katunayake expressway spans 25.1 kilometres, including 4
motor lanes, with motorists now being able to travel between Colombo and
Katunayake in about 20 minutes.
Mr. Kiran Redkar, Chief Executive of UltraTech Cement, Sri Lanka,
