SLIM holds graduation ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony 2013 of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) was held recently at the Waters Edge, Battaramulla, with certificates being awarded to students who completed graduate and postgraduate programs.

Students who successfully completed the National Diploma in Sales Management, Diploma in Brand Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (SL), Certified Professional Marketer (Asia) and Master of Business Administration (UK) examinations, received their certificates at the ceremony while the status of Practicing Marketer (SL) and Fellow Member were awarded to selected members of the marketing fraternity.

The National Diploma in Sales Management, designed for sales-career minded people already in the sales, marketing or business development force, produced 57 graduates with V. S. Bulathsinhala being recognised as the best student.

Of the 57 graduates, 33 were from the November 2012 batch while the other 24 were from the June 2013 batch. The Diploma in Brand Management, a 12-month part-time program designed to give students brand marketing competencies, produced 28 graduates from the April 2013 batch with the best student being S. P. M. P. Senanayake.
