President returns to island today
President Mahinda Rajapaksa was expected to take part in the signing
of a number of bilateral agreements including in the areas of trade,
tourism, sports and defence.
Representatives of the Kenyan business community sat for breakfast
with the President earlier yesterday before a Sri Lankan business forum
was organised.
President Rajapaksa, who is in Kenya on a four-day state visit, will
return to Sri Lanka today. He took part in former South African
President Nelson Mandela's memorial service on Tuesday, prior to his
visit to Kenya. |
