Chandrasiri addresses top officials

Governor of Northern Province G.A. Chandrasiri addressed the senior public Servants regarding the 13th Amendment to the Constitution of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Provincial Councils Act No. 42 of 1987.

The event was held at the auditorium of Jaffna College of Education at Kopay on Friday (13).

District Secretaries, high ranking officials from Northern Provincial Council and other senior public servants took part at this event.

He focused on the roles and responsibilities of Governor, constituting the provincial councils, the powers and functions of provincial councils, the appointment of Chief Minister and the board of ministers and the delegation of authority.
