Blessings for New year invoked

A seventeen-day religious program to invoke blessing on the country and people for the New year commenced at Sri Bodhirukkaramaya last Sunday (15) will conclude on December 31.

It was organised by the Yahamulla Pooja Bhoomi Sanwardhara Padanama under the direction of Chief Adhikarana Sanga Nayake of Weligam Korale North Ven. Yahamulla Anuruddha Thera.

Seth Pirith chanting, Atavisi Bodhi Pooja, Mal Pahan Buddha poja and Deva poja continue daily until December 31.
