AGM of Isipathana OBA

The Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys' Association (Seniors) of Isipathana Vidyalaya, Colombo will be held on Sunday, December 29 at 9.00 a.m. at the College auditorium.

O+ kidney wanted

Thirty-five-year old mother, Chula Lakshmi Dassanayake of 55A, Kandanapitiya, Bope, Padukka is suffering from a renal ailment. Consultant Nephrologist of the National Hospital, Colombo, Dr. R.D. Lanerolle has recommended immediate kidney transplanation.

She appeals to a kind donor with O+ blood group and also to the generous public for financial assistance, to meet the surgical expenses. The contributions could be remitted to Sampath Bank, Padukka branch A/c No. 119254358616 in favour of R.C.P. Ranigamage.

Death of social worker

R.P. James of Kobeigane, a well-known social worker and father-in-law of W.A.D. Sarathchandra of Lake House Security Division, expired yesterday.

The funeral will take place today, December 22 at the family burial ground. "Wewa Pahala Niwasa", Jubilee Road, Kobeigane.
