Leennalu Methumsith – an up-and-coming T.T. Player.

An up-and-coming table tennis player is seven year-old Leenula
Methumsith of Lyceum International School, Bogamuwa. He had a good
tournament and finished among the top two in the under 8 boys (2)
Western Province Open Ranking TT Tournament recently.
The Table Tennis Tournament was organised by the Schools Table Tennis
Association and the Sri Lanka Tale Tennis Association. Leenula first
came within the first three in the under 8 boys Western Province Open
Ranking TT Championship held at the New Stadium, University of Moratuwa
in August. Then in September he was seen in the Western Province Open
Ranking Tournament in the under 8 category. He was also the champion at
the Bogamuwa Lyceum International School Tournament.
A devoted TT player, Leenula started playing TT late this year an he
was encouraged a great deal from Mohan Lal Grero Foundation.
