Angelo and Tharindu guide NCC to final

Nondescript Cricket Club beat Colts Cricket Club by seven wickets in
the semi-final of the Premier Limited Over Cricket Tournament played at
R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Saturday.
Batting first, Colts were bowled out for 174 in 48 overs as Tharindu
Kaushal picked up four wickets for NCC. Milinda Siriwardena top scored
with 59 for Colts while others fell cheaply.
In reply, NCC reached the 175-target in 29.2 overs as Angelo Perera
smashed an unbeaten 50-ball 64 runs with five sixes and four fours. Left
hander Jehan Mubarak chipped in with 32 off 49 sharing an unfinished
100-run stand for the fourth wicket.
The second semi-final between Sinhalese Sports Club and Ragama
Cricket Club, will be played tomorrow at the same venue as a day game.
Colts: 174 all out in 48 overs (Milinda Siriwardena 59, Ishan
Jayaratne 27, Bhanuka Rajapakse 19, Tharindu Kaushal 4-33, Lahiru
Madushanka 2-24).
NCC: 175-3 in 29.2 overs (Angelo Perera 64 n.o, Jehan Mubarak 32 n.o,
Upul Tharanga 30, Niroshan Dickwella 27, Kanishka Alvitigala 2-26).
