Rambukwella match-bag of 12 for 123 helps Tamil Union win by innings

Ramith Rambukwella's stunning figures of eight wickets in the second innings helped Tamil Union to beat unbeaten Moors Sports Club by an innings and 45 runs in their Premier League Super Eight match, which ended with a day to spare at NCC grounds yesterday.

Off spinner Rambukwella, who captured four wickets in the Moors' first innings, claimed 8-102 as Moors were dismissed for 261 in their second innings. Rambukwella, who crossed over from NCC this season, scored 53 runs in Tamil Union's mammoth first innings total of 521, which was also bolstered by Rumesh Buddhika's unbeaten 239 on day two.
