Centenary celebrations

Old Girls of Samudra Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Nugegoda have organised a range of fund raising events to assist the school in its many endeavours to celebrate the centenary of the school.

The funds are mainly expected to be utilised in the construction of a three-storeyed aesthetic complex which will enable students to train in various aesthetic aspects like dance and song.

'Samuduru Seva' is the title of the show which will comprise a series of dance events. It is expected to enthrall the audience as much effort has been put into this endeavour. Saraswathy Praname,an exotic Spanish Dance and a playlet- Greatwise woman and five maids will be staged at the National Youth Centre auditorium , Maharagama on April 4 at 2.30 p.m. for schoolchildren and at 6.30 p.m. for the public.
