Chinese biz delegation due tomorrow
A business delegation from Guangdong Province of China will arrive in
Sri Lanka tomorrow to explore trade and investment opportunities in the
country.
The visit has been organised by the Sri Lanka-China Business Council
of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
Representatives from 11 Chinese private sector companies are expected
to set up ties with local partners. The delegation will explore business
investment opportunities in real estate, electronic products, stainless
steel, import and export, tea, copper, aluminium, building material,
lighting (LED and solar products), furniture and furniture fittings and
sea food.
The Sri Lanka-China Business Council will facilitate meetings between
interested local businesses and the visiting Chinese businesses
representatives.
The business networking session (one-on-one meetings) will take place
tomorrow at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.
