COYLE celebrates 15th anniversary

The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), one of the largest business chambers in the country, celebrated its 15th anniversary recently.

The chief guest was President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Ministers, Government and Opposition MPs Government officials and members of the diplomatic community, COYLE members, their spouses and business leaders were also present.

Preceding the event, COYLE's Annual General Meeting took place, wherein the new Chairman of COYLE Sanjaya Jayaratne was sworn in as Chairman for 2014/2015, taking over from Wasantha de Silva. Navin Perera was elected Chairman Elect for 2015/2016 and Kasun Rajapaksa as Chairman Elect for 2016/2017. COYLE presented 'Achievers' awards to five top achievers in business entrepreneurship, Sumal Perera (Access International), Gahanath Pandithage (DIMO), Manjula Narayana (NMK Holdings), Kasun Rajapaksa (Samson Group) and Sujeewa Palliyaguruge (Senani Holdings).
