Seylan Pahasara to develop libraries

Seylan Bank launched an islandwide library project Seylan Pahasara
last year, its silver jubilee year, to help 'less fortunate' libraries
or set up new libraries in 100 schools around the country.
This project was based on the infrastructure needs of schools and
learning content.
Last year, Seylan Bank completed 12 school libraries in ten districts
and during the first quarter of 2014 gifted another 14 libraries.
Three more libraries were presented last week. "Seylan Pahasara has
been a success and attracted a positive and encouraging feedback from
thousands of schoolchildren from all parts of the country," a bank
spokesman said.
