Ashokarama Mawatte, Andiambalama is suffering from acute lymphoblastic
leukaemia. His parents cannot afford the long-term treatment and hence

Spine ailment: She needs help
Thirteen-year-old Kithmi Senuri Ganegama of 326, Janapriya Mawatte,
Koralawella, Moratuwa has been diagnosed with scoliosis on her spine.
The medical specialists have recommended surgery in India which costs
around Rs. 30 lakhs. Her parents find it difficult to foot the medical
bill and as such appeal for public contributions to be credited to A/c

Visakha Avurudu pola on April 5
The Visakha Avurudu Pola, organised by the Visakha Vidyalaya Old
Girls’ Association (VVOGA) will be held on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
at the school premises.
The pola is a one-stop-shop for Avurudu shoppers and a place of fun
and frolic for children.
Arts festival to mark temple anniversary
An arts festival will be held at Sri Dharmaraja Dhamma School of Sri
Sudharmarama temple, Colombo 10, today at 3.00 pm, as part of the
centenary celebrations of the temple.
The Dayaka Sabha under the guidance of the chief incumbent Ven.
Godauda Ariyadhamma Nayake Thera has also organised a series of
religious activities to commemorate the anniversary.
