Mahamaya Girls College champs in girls cricket

GIRLS SCHOOLS CRICKET: Mahamaya Girls College emerged champions while Loolkandura M.V. Deltota were runners-up and St. Anthony's Girls School, Kandy were third at the Kandy District Girls Schools ten ors Limited Overs cricket tournament held at the St. Anthony's Girls School Grounds, Katugastota.

There were 12 teams that participated in the tournament.

The teams - St. Anthony's Convents, Mahamaya Girls College, Gothami Balika, Pushpadana Balika, Loolkandura Tamil School, Deltota, Dharmawickrama Balika, Ramakrishna Central, Galaha. Mahamaya, Loolkandura M.V. and St. Anthony's Girls School, Kandy qualified to play in the Provincial Tournament to be held shortly.
