BoC launches 75th anniversary celebrations

The Bank of Ceylon (BoC) launched its 75th anniversary celebrations on a religious note, with the spreading of white sand at Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi Upper Maluwa and Lower Maluwa on April 19. General Manager and the President of the Bank's Buddhist association D.M. Gunesekara, Senior Deputy General Manager (Sales and Channel Management) H.M. Mudiyanse, Assistant General Manager (North Central Province) H.M.P.B. Herath, Manager, Anuradhapura Super Grade Branch D.M.K.S. Dissanayake and the staff of Bank of Ceylon along with Buddhist devotees participated.

Chief incumbent of the Atamasthana, Ven Pallegama Sirinivasa Thera extended his blessings towards the bank and the staff.

This is the inaugural event launched by BoC to mark its 75th anniversary which falls on August 1.
