complete the course at SLIM Business School, Kandy.
A number of students enrolled for the program at the launch at Hotel
Thilanka in Kandy.
President, SLIM, Kalana Rathnayaka said, “At SLIM we constantly focus
on taking our educational product portfolio to new markets. Kandy is the
second city of Sri Lanka and contains a highly educated population.
Therefore, this launch is a significant milestone in the long term
expansion drive of our institution.”
CEO and Executive Director, SLIM, Sanath Senanayake said, “Over the
past few years there has been a growing demand for the SLIM Bucks MBA in
Kandy. Many people who inquired about the course said that the distance
from Colombo was the main challenge faced by them. However, with the
launch of the program in Kandy we will satisfy this demand.” According
to a SLIM spokesman, the SLIM-Bucks MBA which is provided by the
Buckinghamshire New University differs from other MBA qualifications
available in Sri Lanka due to the facilities it offers through its
affiliation with SLIM, the national body for marketing in Sri Lanka.
Time conscious students can communicate directly with lecturers from
the university and the lecture notes and module designing for this
degree are done directly from UK. SLIM adds value to the program by
having a limited number of students in a class and providing a panel of
local lecturers to guide students through the entire program, he said. |
