How to check air pollution

One way to reduce air pollution is by changing a gas lawnmower to an
electric lawnmower or to get an old-fashioned push lawnmower that
provides exercise to your body.
If you ride a bicycle or use public transport, there will be less air
pollution.
Whenever possible walk, instead of driving. Do all your shopping in
one trip or buy a vehicle that uses less fuel.
Instead of destroying forests, plant trees wherever possible. Trees
reduce air pollution by releasing oxygen to the environment.

Let’s have a balanced diet
We eat many types of food to live. What we eat should be wholesome.
Our mind and body will be strong and healthy if we eat a balanced diet
which must contain all the nutrients required by the body.
We have a food pyramid which shows the quantity of food required by
the body. If we eat accordingly, we can be healthy.
If a person eats a lot of food, he is likely to become obese. If he
eats less food he is likely to suffer from malnutrition and anaemia.
To maintain good health we must have a balanced diet.

There are many trees in the world. They are a gift of nature. Humans
and animals cannot exist without trees. They provide food, shade,
shelter and medicine to man.
The coconut tree is a wonderful creation of nature. Every part of the
coconut tree is useful to man. It is a versatile tree.
People use coconut leaves to thatch their houses. The coir from
coconut husks is used to make brooms, brushes, ropes and rugs. The ekel
is used to make brooms.
People use the trunk of the tree as rafters for houses and also to
make furniture and boats. The tender coconut is a delicious drink.
Coconuts are used for cooking. This is also used to extract oil.
The hard shell of the coconuts are polished and are used to make
spoons, toys and beautiful ornaments.
There are many coconut estates in our country. Coconut is one of our
main exports. It brings us much needed foreign exchange.

Helping the helpless
There are many helpless people in our country. Beggars are not the
only helpless ones. There are some who are desperate in certain
situations. When a person falls into trouble he becomes helpless if
there is nobody to give a helping hand. It is our duty to do some
service and be helpful to those who are poor and helpless.
There are so many who become helpless due to natural disasters. There
are people who have nobody to take care of them. The handicapped are
also helpless. It is a good habit to help these people.
Most of the beggars cannot do a job. They have no way of earning so
they beg for a living. It is our duty to help them once they come to us.

result some of the elderly people and children undergo many
difficulties.
