Rs. 35m for library books

Ministry of education has decided to grant Rs. 100,000 to all national schools to buy books for their libraries and Rs. 35 million has been allocated for same.

Heads of national schools have been informed to buy more library books, question paper books and teachers’ manuals for the use of both teachers and students who get ready for the public examinations, said a senior Director of Education W.M. Balasooriya in Kurunegala.
