President Premadasa's 21st death anniversary

The 21st death commemoration ceremony of the late President will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 8.30 a.m. at the President's Memorial site near the Court Complex at Hulftsdorp, Colombo 12.

Senior Lecturer of Peradeniya University, Attanayake M. Herath will deliver a speech at 7.00 p.m. the previous night on April 30, followed by a Dhamma Sermon from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., by the Most Ven. Bandarawela Amithananda Thera at the Sri Sucharitha Hall, Hulftsdorp, Colombo 12.

An alms-giving will be held at the Hunupitiya Gangarama Temple on the following morning May 1 under the auspices of the Maha Sangha.
