The Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Dunya Maumoon called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday. where she assured the President of Maldives’ continuous support to Sri Lanka. The Acting High Commissioner of Maldives in Sri Lanka Dr. Hassian Niyaaz accompanied Ms. Maumoon. Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris, Secretary to the President Mr. Lalith Weeratunga and Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs Mrs. Kshenuka Senewiratne were also present.
