Nishantha hails champion Sri Lanka team at AGM

Sri Lanka Cricket Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga thanked Twenty20 World cup and Asia Cup winning Sri Lanka team and supportive staff and the sponsors as well as media for their great effort during the past years at 56th AGM of Sri Lanka Cricket held at SLC Headquarters, Colombo on April 23.

SLC Press release stated: "The Secretary went on to thank the National Team and the Support Staff together with the National Selectors for the excellent performance to win the Asia Cup and the ICC World T20, and he thanked the Sponsors for being part of this great achievement. He also went on to thank the Media for the wide coverage given to SLC during the past year and during these achievements.

The meeting began with the SLC Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga welcoming the invitees for the meeting and a minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect of the members who passed away during the past year.

The Audited Statement of Accounts was confirmed to be in order and was adopted unanimously.
