Colombo recently.
The workshop was inaugurated by CMA President Prof. Lakshman R.

This workshop was organised as a follow- up to the launch of the EMA
Guidelines for Sri Lankan Enterprises by CMA in June 2014, to understand
the practical insights in adopting EMA.
Officials from service and manufacturing organisations took part in
this interactive workshop. It gave an opportunity for peer to peer
learning and sharing of best practices on EMA through group discussions.
The workshop covered areas such as environmental challenge, corporate
greening, EMA, EMA development strategy and adoption. The highlights of
the workshop were discussions on how various organisations respond to
environmental challenges and the use of a holistic approach for
environmental management facilitated through EMA. |
