Braiform and BLMM to manufacture garment hangers

Braiform, a global supplier of garment hangers and packaging solutions to the retail industry, has partnered with Boehm and Leckner Multi Moulds (BLMM) to manufacture garment hangers in Sri Lanka. Boehm and Leckner is a subsidiary of the Almar Trading Company of Sri Lanka.

Braiform, with over 15 years of operations in the Sri Lankan market and BLMM, leaders in precision mould making and injection moulding, based on a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the Export Processing Zone in Katunayake will launch production of the globally renowned range of plastic resin garment hangers.

With a start-up production capacity in excess of fifty million hangers per annum, the new Sri Lankan Braiform operation will become a key manufacturing and supply hub for Braiform in the region, a BLMM official said.

The collaboration between the two industry leaders will benefit the local apparel industry by providing a wide range of hanger solutions and access to Braiform's innovative packaging solutions and services.
