'Enchanting Hues' at the Wendt

Two of the exhibits |
Chris Benjamin will hold her inaugural solo exhibition of paintings
on September 27 and 28 at the Main Hall of Lionel Wendt Art Gallery. Her
first solo collection showcases her work with different media such as
oils and acrylics embracing a variety of contemporary techniques and her
own creative imagination.
The uniqueness in her collection lies in the fact that each piece of
art is embedded with her unique stamp of creativity of not being bound
by one single technique or the other, creating a distinctive appeal to
the eye of the lover of art. She said, "The striking dissimilarity
running across my collection is itself is my own style".
This individuality of hers has been much appreciated at many
occasions, the most recent of which is the annual George Keyt Foundation
exhibition where three of her paintings were on display. Her foray into
the popular art circuit took place in the year 2010 where she showcased
her work at a joint exhibition at the same venue.
Chris is an artist who has the mindset and ability to create each
piece of work in her very own exclusive style with a love of colour,
depicting diversified subject matter with styles and techniques in
abundance and ease. |
