Jewels 2014 from Dec 19-21

Jewels 2014, an educational trade fair and exhibition organised by Sri Lanka Gemologists Association will be held from December 19-21 at the BMICH. It is sponsored by Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Authority.

Chairman of the Association, Nandana Nakkavita said that there will be over 40 stalls of reputed gem and jewellery companies and small and medium sector stakeholders.

The gem and jewellery competition will be held on December 14 at the OPA auditorium, Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, Colombo 7. The award winning gem stones such as the best gem stone, the best cut and polished gem stone, the best jewellery item and the best gem photograph will be displayed at the exhibition, he said.

The event will also promote around 100 SME producers who produce for the export market.
