the regional association has been promoting cooperation and facilitating
mutual exchange of information and expertise in the field of rural
finance to alleviate poverty in the Asia Pacific region.
Today, 69 institutes in 21 countries are affiliated with APRACA.
The Bank of Ceylon (BoC) with the Central Bank, People's Bank,
National Development Bank, Union Bank, Sanasa Development Bank and the
Rural Development Bank hosted the APRACA Executive Committee meeting.
BoC General Manager and APRACA Executive Committee member D.M Gunasekara

The program shared knowledge and information with regard to this
year's theme which is of concern to all banks and financial institutions
that provide credit facilities to the agricultural sector."

Sri Lanka which lend to the agricultural sector to enhance their
expertise and exposure in the field," he said. |
