Dear children,
British High Commissioner, John Rankin at a school prize giving spoke
of the value of English. It is important to have a good knowledge of
English because it will help you as you grow older to refer to text
books which are mainly in English.
Spend sometime to grasp the language. Learn to read, write and talk
in English. You can do this by reading English newspapers and listening
to radio. You can enrol in your school library and borrow books written
in English and read them. I am sure these little tips will help you to
learn English effectively .
Bye for now,
Aunty Merle. |
