Singer Ultra Notebooks presented to GCE (O-L) top performers

Singer Sri Lanka PLC supported the top ten students who excelled in the GCE Ordinary Level examination in 2014 at a ceremony at the Temple Trees recently.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe awarded the latest Singer Ultra Notebooks to the top performers at a function held to felicitate the students who achieved island ranking.

CEO, Singer Sri Lanka, Asoka Pieris said, "As a respectable corporate citizen we have pledged to uplift the standard of education in Sri Lanka by embarking on the Schools Development Project that began in 2010. We consider it our obligation to support the education of our country while empowering the future generation with the latest innovation available in technology."

The Singer Ultrabook inherits a powerful new Generation Intel Core i5 processor, amplified energy saving capabilities and a smooth, light-weight design. The notebook was granted the Gold Certificate for achieving an innovative user-experience without compromising on performance and battery life.

These features are ideal for students especially with Information Technology now being included in the local syllabus.
