Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo leads with 3,742 votes

Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo (3,742) sprang back into the lead replacing last week’s winner Raveen Sayer of Trinity College who was pushed into third place at the end of the 5th week’s counting in the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year 2015 competition. Richmond College Galle’s Charith Asalanka was placed second polling 3233 votes.

There was a new entrant in the Platinum category for schools playing in division 1 of the SLSCA tournament _ Geethal Fernando of St.Benedict’s College, Kotahena who has been faring prominently during the season, is placed 10th with 368 votes.

In the division 11 Gold and Silver category division 111, there were no changes as Randev Pathirana of Royal, Colombo is in the lead with 2,576 votes and his closest rival Ramindu Nickechala of Devapathiraja, Ratgama polled in 1,736 votes. In Silver, Mohammed Issaf of St.Aloysius, Ratnapura is still on top with 1,152 votes.
