Aluth Horek Onee

Two special shows of Aluth Horek Onee, a hilarious comedy directed by Ajith Mendis, will be staged at the New Town Hall in Colombo 7 and Halle de Galle Theatre, in Galle on April 23 and 24 respectively. The Colombo shows will be at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. and the show in Galle will be at 2.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

The cast includes a host of popular artistes including Wijaya Nandasiri, Roshan Pilapitiya, Saman Hemarathne, Senaka Titus, Mihiri Priyangani and Kumari Senarathne. Music is by Anthony Surendra and Luvoline Vandawall, while Sumedha Prasanna provides stage setting and stage management. The main organiser of the drama is Jude Srimal.

Sudu saha Kalu

Veteran writer and director Simon Navagattegama's Sudu saha Kalu will be staged at the Kegalle Town Hall at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Friday, April 29. Directed by veteran actor Sriyantha Mendis, the cast of this outstanding play includes, Mendis, Kusum Renu, Roshan Pilapitiya, Jayalal Rohana, Wasantha Vittachchi, Nadeeshani Peliarachchi, Mahendra Weerarathna, Rathna D. Nambuge, Prageeth Ereagama, Uditha Gunarathne and Shan Amanda among many others. Music for the play is composed by Jagath P. Wijeweera, with choreography and stage settings by veteran actor Mahendra Perera, make up by Wasantha Wittachchi, lighting and sound managements by Mihindu Madushanka and statement management by Sumedha Prasanna and Ruvan Kumara. The play is produced and organised by Jude Srimal.
