Salinda Ushan of Isipathana College, swept past the seven thousand vote mark ( 7378) , with Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo ( 5612) and Royal’s Lasith Embuldeniya ( 5088) in second and third places respectively in the division one category at the end of the 8th week count in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year contest 2016.
