Solid waste project in Kandy MC

“Sampath Piyasa” a project run by the Kandy Municipal Council under the Solid Material Management Project Korean aid will collect waste material and will transport them to ‘Sampath Piyasa’ .“We are there to collect items such as plastic water bottles, scrap iron, beer cans, discarded radios and tin sheets.

We will buy these items” said, Mayor of Kandy Mahendra Ratwatte who returned from Korea.He said the project will be improved further and more waste material will be added to the list.
