New HSBC Premier offers more services
The new HSBC Premier offering more services, recognition, rewards and
more financial solutions to the customers across the globe was launched
in 35 countries.
Chief Executive Officer of HSBC, David J H Griffiths, said: "HSBC
Premier is the first example of a truly global mass affluent banking
service that offers international recognition as well as innovative
products and services.
He said that there are around 47 million mass affluent consumers in
Asia-Pacific, while there are 2,000 customers in Sri Lanka and their
numbers are growing while their needs are evolving. These customers are
increasingly internationally-oriented, sophisticated and knowledgeable.
HSBC Premier is designed to help them exploit opportunities locally and
overseas, to grow wealth, achieve financial security and enjoy the
exclusive and exceptional rewards of their success and hard work.
The HSBC Premier Centre at Flower Road Colombo 7 has also been
refurbished with this new look while a highly skilled team including 35
Premier relationship managers all accredited to the global standard of
HSBC together with other dedicated Premier servicing staff have been
employed to provide appropriate investment options and solutions for
customers to achieve their financial goals, while enabling them to enjoy
tremendous benefits and rewards."
The new HSBC Premier comes with many new and enhanced services
designed to address our customers' financial and lifestyle needs. With
the new Premier, customers will get more information, such as products
and services, and more rewards.
Premier customers can now have access to more comprehensive market
information including our unique Global Investment Perspective.
They will receive comprehensive, timely, professional, and useful
commentaries via the internet and other channels on a regular basis so
that they can make the most informed investment decision.
Existing customers of HSBC Premier in Sri Lanka will be introduced to
this in October 2007, while new customers will receive their card on
joining. Irrespective of when they receive the new card, they will all
enjoy the benefits and privileges which come with the new card.
Available exclusively to our Premier customers, the Premier credit card
offers around 300 exclusive offers among the other privileges at some
9,000 merchant outlets in over 40 countries and territories worldwide.
The card comes pre-approved with fee waived, only for Premier
customers and their family members.
Currently having the best in class status for Air miles partners in
the region, HSBC further enhances this facility, hoping to sign up with
many other airlines this year. At present, HSBC partners with Cathay
Pacific (Asia Miles), Singapore Airlines (Kris Flyer) and Qatar Airways
(Q Miles) to provide great benefits for their Premier customers. Another
added benefit is that Premier customers worldwide will also have access
to the Executive Lounge at the BIA Airport in Katunayake.
The Executive lounge will be available for Premier customers
worldwide upon showing the Premier Credit card or ATM card. Facilities
at the lounge include Refreshments (Tea/Coffee/Soft drinks/Biscuits),
Telephone facilities, Comfortable seating, TV and Wi Fi facilities.
Above all, through our international network, the Premier credit card
provides customers a worldwide safety net and emergency support with
next day card replacement and emergency encashment services, where they
can draw up to USD 1000.
