Greece to close doors on Tiger terrorists

Greece plans to strengthen its anti-terrorism regulations, which would consequently ban the LTTE here. An official of the Greek Foreign Ministry said that they would implement all regulations adopted by the European Union in combatting world terrorism.

Another Tiger defendant convicted in US

Thirunavukarasu Varatharasa (37) the last defendant in the plot to supply weapons to the LTTE pleaded guilty yesterday (10) in Baltimore to conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization and attempted exportation of arms and munitions, quoting the PRNewswire, Media Center for National Security reported yesterday.
