Space crunch in Colombo Port hits trade

The space crunch experienced by shippers to European countries is due to some main liners either partly or fully withdrawing their services to Europe. The total export trade lost is around 600-650 TEU space per week to Europe, said Sri Lanka Shippers Council Chairman Jayanath Perera.
