30,000 jobs for hoteliers in ME

Thirty-thousand job opportunities in the Middle East will be available for those who work in the Hotel sector, Deputy Minister of Travel and Tourism Faizer Muzthapha told the Sunday Observer.

The Deputy Minister said, he has had discussions with leading hoteliers, Human Resource Managers in the Middle East and Emirates to promote Sri Lanka's tourism industry and the Hotel sector.

He said, there is a demand for our Hotel School students in the Emirates.

If our students meet their requirements they are ready to recruit them soon', he said. The Deputy Minister said on the instructions of Minister Milinda Moragoda and the Hotel School principal, he is planning to have further discussions in this connection this month.
