Kandy beat Police 32-11

RUGBY: Kandy Sports Club beat Police by 32 points (1 goal, 5 tries) to 11 (1 try, 2 penalties) in an exhibition rugby match at Nittawela yesterday after leading 10-6 at half time.

Fazil Marija (2), Nalaka Weerakoddy (1), Senaka Bandara (1), Chamara Vithanage (1) and Aslam (1) scored the tries for Kandy with Dev Anand converting one of the six tries.

For Police, Wilson, scored the solitary try with Wijewardene firing across the two penalties.
