Niyas brothers-tennis players of the future

TENNIS: Trinity College has a trio of brothers who are making their mark in tennis. The brothers are: Shaam, Inaam and Azaam Niyas.

At the recent tournament conducted by the Kandy District Sports Development Foundation at the Garden Club Courts, the brothers combination, won four titles. Inaam - the second brother, won the under 15 singles title and then teaming up with elder brother Shaam won the doubles title too.

The youngest among the trio - Azaam shows a lot of promise for the future and he won the under 9 title and was runner-up in the under 11 singles title.

Another interesting fact that surrounds the progress of these youngsters is the fact that their coach is their grandfather K. S. H. M. Razick.
