Mobitel customers get free access to SLT Maxtalk

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) launched its latest SLT and Mobitel co-branded "Maxtalk" pre paid international calling card. The unique feature of this service is that SLT will give toll free access to all Mobitel customers when they connect to the SLT international gateway.

Customers can dial the toll free number 1266, which gives access to the SLT international gateway using a SLT or Mobitel phone, with no additional local call charges and per second billing.

Comprising two charge bands, Band A has a flat rate of Rs. 10, applicable 24 hours of the day to 68 countries including Europe, the US, Japan, Singapore, Australia and while Band B has a flat rate of Rs. 25 to 148 countries including the Middle East, South Asia.

SLT's advanced VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology empowered the pre paid international calling card.

SLT Maxtalk international calling card is the cost effective solutions for international voice communication needs and is also the only international calling card in the local market which covers all countries.

This includes having access to IDD through any phone (mobile, fixed line and pay phone), which enables you to call anyone in any part of the world.

By using SLT Maxtalk cards, as there are no bills for international calls made, the customer can control expenditure himself. SLT Maxtalk pre paid cards are available at SLT, Mobitel, SLT dealer, Mobitel dealer outlets or at any communication centre islandwide, SLT offers this unique feature only for SLT and Mobitel customers in the island.
