Silver-embossed doors donated to Maligawa

The two doors at the main entrance to the Sri Dalada Maligawa, wrought with silver carvings were offered to the Sacred Tooth Relic at a ceremony held recently.

The offering was financed by NETH FM Chairman, Nihal Seneviratne Epa and the Australia Telecom Director Aruna Amarasekera under the patronage of Most Ven. Udugama Sri Rathanapala Buddharakkithabhidana Maha Nayaka of Asgiriya Chapter, Ven. Hunupolagama Vajira Sri Nayaka Thera and the Diyawadana Nilame, Pradeep Nilanga Dela Bandara.
