Mahanama Prefects donate libraries

Siddhartha Vidyalaya and Miyuguna Saddhitissa Vidyalaya in the Ampara District lacked proper library facilities for many years.

The Prefects Guild of Mahanama College with the assistance of the parents made arrangements to build a fully equipped library which was long-felt need.

Both schools received water pumps, wall clocks, first aid drugs and sports goods. Deputy Principal, Ven. Yalawala Pagnasekara, Ven. Rammala Dhammarakkitha, rest of the staff, representatives of the Schools Development Society, Prefect Guild of the Mahanama College, Regional Manager and the Manager of the People's Bank participated.
