Trinity in superb 23-18 win over Kingswood

RUGBY : Trinity College warmed up for next week's Bradby Shield match against Royal with a superb 23 points (1 goal, 2 Tries, 2 penalties) to 18 (1 goal, 1 try, 2 penalties) win over Kingswood College in their schools under 20 'A' divisioin segment one match played at Pallekelle yesterday after trailing 10-15 at hald time.

Centre Rangika Illeperuma (1) lock forward Sean Wanigasekara (1) and flanker Idroos omar (1) scored the tries for Trinity with centre Cency Siegertsz converting one try and also flved across two penalties. For Kingswood scrum half Roshan Weeraratna (1) and lock forword C. P. Wijatunga (1) scored the tries with Roshan Weeraratna converting one try and putting over two penalties.

The Trinitians also won the under 14 match 14-7 and under 16 game 22-0. Referee Pradeep Fernando was assaulted by a spectator soon after the match and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
